WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

In December 1988, Altus native Reneé Walker Gunkel walked into a small space in historic downtown Altus that would quickly become Gunkel Law Group.

Over thirty years later, Gunkel Law Group has expanded to the communities of Lawton and Oklahoma City, and Reneé’s team has grown to an impressive number of attorneys and skilled legal professionals.

Her dedication to providing small-town service, attention, and detail continues to be upheld throughout her legal team and law offices.

To be a trusted, faithful partner when friends, family, or members of our community are going through a difficult moment in their life – and to be able to effectively do something about it – is incredibly rewarding. It’s a responsibility and a service we do not and will not ever take lightly.
